Preparation Of Tomato Fish Recipe

Fish
is a favorite dish for most of us and tomato has a nice flavour. When
added tomato with fish it has a unique flavour. Today let's learn how to
prepare a Tomato fish.
Tomatoes - 250gms
Haddock fillets (or any firm white fish): 500gms
Onion – 1
Yoghurt - 2tbsp
Turmeric powder -2tsp
Red chili powder - 1tsp
Ginger paste - 2tsp
Cumin powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Sugar -½ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 3tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1tbsp

Oil - 3tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1tbsp
Take a
fish and remove any pin bones from it and cut into large piece. Now rub
the fish with 1 ½ tsp turmeric powder and 1tsp salt and keep it a side
for 10 minutes.
Take a
bowl and boil water in it, now take tomatoes and add them into the
boiling water and allow them to boil for 30 seconds and remove them.
Later peel the tomatoes and chop finely.
Take a large onion and chop it finely.
Take a
pan and heat oil, now place the fish pieces on the heating pan and try
the fish pieces until they turn golden in color on both the sides and
place them a side.
Now in
the same pan add chopped onions and cook for 5-6 minutes till them
become soft. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder,
coriander powder, ginger paste, sugar and chopped tomatoes and Mix the
mixture properly and cook for 4-5 minutes till the tomatoes are tender.
Now cool
the complete mixture and grind the mixture properly to a coarse paste.
On the same pan add the coarse paste mixture and heat it on a light
fire. Add 1cup water and boil the mixture.
Whisk the
yoghurt and add to the simmering curry. Add the fish pieces along with
any juices and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Add the chopped coriander and mix
well.
Now the dish is ready you can remove it from the fire and can serve hot with rice or rotis.
