Chocolates are loved by everyone and mostly children prefer eating them daily. Today let’s learn how to prepare a delicious Coffee chocolate candy at home.


Butter -1 cup
Light brown sugar - 1/2 cup
White sugar - 1/2 cup
Honey - 1 1/2tsp
Salt -1/4tsp
Instant espresso coffee powder - 1 1/2tsp
Chocolate chips - 1 cup
Chopped walnuts and almonds - 1/2 cup


Take a saucepan and melt the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, honey, salt and espresso together and take a small baking sheet line with parchment paper and set aside.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a whisk until the temperature reaches 250 F. At this point stir constantly until the temperature reaches 300 F.

Now pour immediately into the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the candy and let them sit for a few minute until soft, then spread the chocolate evenly over the candy base. Sprinkle the spread chocolate with the walnuts and almonds. Let it set. Once cool put into the freezer.

Break into pieces and store in an airtight container in the fridge and the Coffee chocolate candy is ready.

Preparation of Tomato fish Recipe

Fish is a favorite dish for most of us and tomato has a nice flavour. When added tomato with fish it has a unique flavour. Today let's learn how to prepare a Tomato fish.


Tomatoes - 250gms
Haddock fillets (or any firm white fish): 500gms
Onion – 1
Yoghurt - 2tbsp
Turmeric powder -2tsp
Red chili powder - 1tsp
Ginger paste - 2tsp
Cumin powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Sugar -½ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 3tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1tbsp


Take a fish and remove any pin bones from it and cut into large piece. Now rub the fish with 1 ½ tsp turmeric powder and 1tsp salt and keep it a side for 10 minutes.

Take a bowl and boil water in it, now take tomatoes and add them into the boiling water and allow them to boil for 30 seconds and remove them. Later peel the tomatoes and chop finely.

Take a large onion and chop it finely.

Take a pan and heat oil, now place the fish pieces on the heating pan and try the fish pieces until they turn golden in color on both the sides and place them a side.

Now in the same pan add chopped onions and cook for 5-6 minutes till them become soft. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger paste, sugar and chopped tomatoes and Mix the mixture properly and cook for 4-5 minutes till the tomatoes are tender.

Now cool the complete mixture and grind the mixture properly to a coarse paste. On the same pan add the coarse paste mixture and heat it on a light fire. Add 1cup water and boil the mixture.

Whisk the yoghurt and add to the simmering curry. Add the fish pieces along with any juices and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Add the chopped coriander and mix well. 

Now the dish is ready you can remove it from the fire and can serve hot with rice or rotis.

Fish is good for health and most of them love eating fish dishes. Try different experiments while cooking, today lets learn how to prepare a unique dish with fish. Making of Milk fish curry is easy and it has different taste when compared with regular dishes which are made of fish.


Rohu/Hilsa/ Tilapia Fillet and Select a fish of your choice
Milk- 1 cup
kalonji/ nigella seeds - ¼ tbsp
Green chillies - 3 to 4
Turmeric Powder
Salt
Mustard oil
Chopped coriander leaves


First clean the fish and rub it with turmeric and salt and store it out side
Now take a Kadai and pour some mustard oil and take the fish pieces and fry it in the oil both sides until the color of the fish changes to brown.
Heat 3 tbsp of mustard oil and add ¼ Tbsp kalonji/ nigella seeds add now add slit green chilies into it.
Take another bowl and add mix and ¼ tbsp of turmeric and mix it properly until the color of the milk turns into golden yellow.
Now add milk into the pan and fishbowl and boil it properly. Add 1 cup of water and salt as per your taste. Keep in a slim flame for a while to have proper gravy and later garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
The dish is ready and you can serve with white or brown rice.

Paneer tandoori is most preferred by everyone when they go out for a date. It can be served with rice as well as rotis and the flavour of paneer is so delicious. Are you feed up serving routine dishes to your family members and guest, lets learn how to prepare a delicious Paneer tandoori at home.


Paneer -400 grams
Ginger paste - 2 tbsp
Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Chicken tandoori masala - 3 tbsp
Curd - 1/2cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Kasoori methi
Salt to taste


Take Paneer wash then lightly with water and cut it into cubes. Now add ginger, garlic paste, curd, tandoori masala and kasoori methi on the paneer cubes and mix them. After properly mixed, preserve it for about 20 minutes.

Now take a cooking bowl and put 1 tbsp oil and heat it and later add the preserved paneer into it. Cook it for some time by covering a lid. While cooking the whole thing gets reduced into gravy form and now add some more kasoori methi and mix it well.

Add salt as per your taste and the dish is ready to be served, turn off the gas and the dish can be served with roti or parathas, or even rice

Pancakes are mostly preferred by everyone and children love eating them. When I was a kid I loved eating them and my mom used to prepare pancakes in various flavours. Today let’s learn how to prepare a delicious Apple Pancakes which has a unique taste.


Plain flour - 1/2 cup
Corn flour - 1/2 cup
Milk - 3/4 cup
Melted butter - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
For the apple filling:
Apples- 4 which are peeled and chopped into small cubes
Butter - 2 tbsp
Brown sugar - 4 tbsp
Cinnamon powder -1/2 tbsp
Honey - 2 tbsp (optional)
Walnuts for garnish


For preparation of Pancakes, take a bowl and Mix flour, corn flour, milk, salt and 1/2 cup water making a batter.

Take a pan add little butter on a non stick pan and now add small amount of batter (approximately 2 tbsp) in the pan. Now cook the pancake till it get golden-brown on both the sides and follow the same method for the rest of the batter.

For the filling in the pancake: Take a pan and Melt the butter and add apples, sugar and cinnamon powder. Cook till the apples are soft and well coated.

Once the filling mixture is ready now take the pancakes prepared and fill the stuff on each pancake and add some honey and walnuts on top and you can serve it. You can also serve with vanilla ice-cream for some extra brownie points.

Moong Dal Halwa Preparation

Halwa is one of the favourite sweet where most of them prefer eating. Halwa can be made in various flavours today learn how to prepare Moong Dal Halwa which has a different and unique taste.

Ingredients Used:

Yellow lentil (moong dal) - 3 cups
Sugar- 1 cup
Ghee - 1 small cup
Water- 3 cups
Milk - 1 cup
Cardamom splits (5 in number)
Finely chopped dry fruits


Preparation Method:

In water soak moong dal for about 12 to 15 hours and later make the soaked moong dal into fine and smooth paste, avoid using water.

Now in a bowl take water and add raw sugar and heat the mixture to prepare the syrup and add cardamom pods into it.

Take a pan and heat ghee or butter with slow flame and later add dal paste on the pan and keep on stirring until it gets golden color.

Once the paste gets golden color now add milk or khoya and cook it for some time. If you are using khoya cook for 4 minutes whereas with milk you need to wait till it becomes thick like a cream.

Now put sugar syrup into the paste and Turn off the fire and add chopped nuts.

It's ready to serve and it tastes good when it is served with vanilla ice cream.

Chicken Paratha


Unique Chicken Paratha


Cooking is all about an artistic passion to invent an altogether new flavour. An unique taste which would mesmerize everyones senses. Now, when it comes to uniqueness it need not be something weird, it can be simple well known food but made in an unique fashion.

Today we learn to make paratha, but made of Chicken! Yes, its Chicken Paratha.     


For the stuffing:

Boneless & skinless chicken-2 lb
onions- 1
coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
garam masala- 1 tsp
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
chillipowder- 1/2 tsp(or according to taste)
curry leaves- a few
coriander leaves chopped
oil- 1 tbsp
salt to taste

Now, coming to the dough:

For the dough:
Wheat flour- 1lb
ghee or butter- 1 1/2 tbsp
salt to taste


Make the dough using the above ingredients and keep it aside for 1/2-1 hr. Keep the dough covered with a moist cloth. Boil chicken in a saucepan till almost cooked. Cool and chop the chicken in a blender. Heat the oil. Add the chopped onions & curry leaves. Fry till golden brown. Add all the dry powders and fry for 30 secs. Add the minced chicken and salt and fry till the raw smell of the coriander powder goes off. (takes appro. 4-5 minutes in medium heat). Remove from heat and mix in coriander leaves. Make lemon-sized balls from the dough. Roll the ball from the edges leaving a small hunch in the center.

Take enough chicken stuffing and roll the dough to make a ball once again. Flatten it carefully to the size desired. Heat the tava and place the paratha for a minute or so. Add a few drops of melted butter or ghee to the top uncooked side and then flip it over. Turn once again after 30 secs or so and place the paratha in a long aluminum foil.

Do the same way with the rest of the parathas. Place all the parathas one above the other in the aluminum foil and make sure U wrap it every time. The idea of using the foil is to retain the heat and moisture of the parathas. Stays fresh for 24 hrs. Can be reheated in a microwave oven.

Monsoon has almost arrived and we could enjoy everyday drizzling giving cooless to our life. When it comes to monsoon our mind and soul genuinely asks for fried food, preferably in the form of snacks along with hot tea or coffee.

There are several crunchy and yummy fried recipes and Kachori happens to be one of them. Kachori or Kachauri or Kachodi or Katchuri is a spicy snack popular in various parts of India including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bengal and Orissa. It is a popular snack food in Karachi, Pakistan as well.  Lets learn making it here:


For Covering:
Refined flour 100 gms.
Rava (Semolina) 100 gms.
Baking soda ¼ tsp.
Ghee 2 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp.
Water (to knead the dough)
Oil For frying
For Filling:
Split Green Gram (Moong daal) 225 gms.
Ginger 1" piece
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Green chilies 5 nos.
Heeng ½ tsp.
Coriander-cumin powder ½ tsp.
Ghee 3 tbsp.
Raisins 50 gms.
Coconut ¼ cup.
Chili powder 1 ½ tsp.
Turmeric powder ¾ tsp.
Lime 2 nos.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Salt To taste


Wash the split green gram and soak overnight. Grind coarsely. Scrape the skin off the ginger and grate. Chop the green chilies and set aside. Grate the coconut and set aside. Sieve the refined flour and set aside.

For the filling :

Heat the ghee in a frying pan and add the split green gram and saute over medium to low heat until cooked. Add the grated coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, turmeric, chili powder and salt to taste. Now mix in the heeng, ginger and cummin-coriander powder. Stir and add the lime juice and sugar and cook for a few minutes longer making sure that he mixture is moist but not liquidy. Adjust seasoning to taste, remove from the flame and add the raisins. Set aside and start preparing the covering.

For the Covering :

Add salt to the sieved flour and rub in the ghee, add the rava and enough water to make stiff dough. Keep the dough covered with a damp cloth for 45 minutes. Knead well and divide the dough into equal portions. Roll each portion to make a puri and put some of the filling mixture
 
in the centre. Bring all the edges of the puri together and seal using little water. Pinch the edges together. Heat the oil until quite hot in a frying pan and deep-fry the kachoris on medium heat until golden brown. Serve hot with imli or hara dhanya chutney.

Monsoon has arrived and its certainly a perfect time to bite on a special Chilli Bajji. It sounds very easy preparation but actually needs some very important ingredients to make it tasty and crunchy.

  • Sweet chilli, large: 4
  • Potato:150 gm
  • Ghee: 30 gm
  • Coriander seeds: 5 gm
  • Ginger: 20 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies: 2 gm
  • Pomegranate seed powder: 10 gm
  • Coriander leaves: 20 gm
  • Oil for frying
  • Gram flour: 250 gm(For batter)
  • Baking soda: 2 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Ajwain: 5 gm

Wash and dry the chillies. Wash, boil and mash potatoes. Add chopped ginger, pomegranate seed powder, coriander seeds and salt. Saute over medium heat for five minutes. Add the chopped coriander and chopped green chilli. Split the large chilli by making a lengthwise slit through its middle, leaving the ends intact. Clean out the insides with a knife or spoon and stuff the mixture into it. Prepare a batter using gram flour, baking soda, salt and ajwain. Heat the oil. Then dip the stuffed chillies in the prepared batter and fry them. Deep-fry till golden brown and serve immediately for maximum satisfaction.

Its more satisfying because its monsoon!

Ingredients for making Chicken Wings:

Chicken wings, 8
Salt, a pinch
Ginger paste, 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste, 2 teaspoons
Cornflour/corn starch, 1/4 cup
Paprika powder, 2 teaspoon
Oil, for frying
Sesame oil (Til oil), to taste

For the Hot and sweet sauce

Light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
Malt vinegar, 1 tablespoon
Sugar, 1 tablespoon
Ginger juice, 1 teaspoon
Garlic, chopped, 5 cloves
Fresh red chillies, slit, 2
Green chillies, slit, 2


Firstly, take salt, ginger paste, garlic paste and paprika powder in a bowl. Add chicken wings and mix well to coat the chicken with the mixture and let it marinate for fifteen minutes. Remove the chicken and coat with cornflour. Heat sufficient oil in a frying pan and deep fry the chicken wings until golden in colour. Drain on an absorbent paper. To make hot and sweet sauce, combine soy sauce, malt vinegar, sugar and ginger juice in a pan. Add water as required and bring the mixture to boil. Add garlic and red and green chillies and stir well. Continue boiling until the sauce is reduced to half. Add chicken wings and stir till they are well coated with the sauce. Transfer the chicken wings to a serving plate, sprinkle sesame oil and serve with steamed rice.

Remove from oven, cut into small pieces and serve hot garnished with torn basil leaves.

Laddu or Laddoo happens to be a ball-shaped sweet popular in Indian Subcontinent as well as regions with immigrants from the Subcontinent such as Hijaz. 1 cup Almonds
1 cup Dates
1 tbsp Honey
a small pinch of Salt
2-3 drops Vanilla Essence
2 pinches of Cinnamon powder
1/2 cup fine shredded Coconut for rolling.


Soak Almonds for 3-4 hrs. De-skin & slice thinly. Leave on a paper towel for sometime. Dry roast till golden brown. Steam the Dates for 25-30 mins by covering a lid. Grind cooled Almonds to fine powder. Add the steamed Dates to it & grind again until everything comes together. Remove the Dates & Almond mixture to a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients & mix well. Make small balls & roll them in Coconut powder. Refrigerate for 2 hrs & serve cold.

Note: Dates sticks to the blender so scrape in between grinding. Adjust honey according to your requirement of sweetness.

Gulab Jamun finds place as an ideal recipe during any holy occasions otherwise family events. Its also being offered to the almighty as an offering. Try making this delicious dessert recipe for you and your loved one's.


Milk Powder Gulab Jamun Recipe
Milk powder-1 cup
Maida-1/2 cup
Sugar-11/2 cup
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Baking soda-pinch
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
Oil for deep fry


Mix maida, milk powder, baking soda, ghee and little amount of water to make a smooth dough. Divide this smooth dough into small balls. Heat a pan, add sugar in two cups of water and add cardamom powder in it. Now sugar dissolves in the water and boiling for few minutes to make sugar syrup. Turn off flame and keep it aside. Heat oil in another pan (for deep fry), fry these all small balls on a low flame. When these all balls turn to golden brown color, remove from the oil and put them into sugar syrup. Leave it for half an hour and gulab jamuns are ready.

Satay Chicken happens to be a popular Malaysian recipe of skewered chicken. This declious chicken skewers are blended with full of aroma. Lets learn making it here:

Ingredients for making Satay Chicken:

1½lb Chicken breast (cut into ¾ inch strips)
Bamboo skewers

Marinade:

4 tbsp. Coconut milk
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp. Soy sauce (Golden Mountain)
1 tsp. Brown sugar
½ tsp. Cumin Powder
½ tsp. Coriander Powder
1 tsp curry or turmeric Powder
1/3 tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper

Basting Sauce:

½ cup Coconut milk
1/3 tsp. Sugar
1/3 tsp. Turmeric or curry powder


In large mixing bowl, combine all the marinade thoroughly. Add Chicken slices, mix well and keep aside at least for an hour. Put the chicken in to skewers and refrigerate for half a day. When needs it , grill it and baste occasionally during cooking. OR back in the oven on 350” F about 45 minutes until chicken cooked. You may serve it hot along with cucumber salad & Peanut sauce. Individual preferences of sauce may differ.

This recipe may sound a very simplified one but it can be absolutely delicious if made with perfection. It's Aloo Mutton Chop Recipe. The main art of cooking remains in helping of meat mixture in the centre of mashed potato ball and then gathering the sides together and enclose the meat completely with the potato. 2 lb. Potatoes
lean mutton
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
1 large onion
1 clove Garlic
½ -inch fresh root Ginger
½ Teaspoon Caraway seeds
1 Teaspoon ground Coriander
½ Teaspoon Garam masala
½ ieaspoon Turmeric powder 8 oz.
minced 1 Tomato
Salt to taste
1 Teaspoon freshly chopped mint
1 egg
Breadcrumbs for coating
Potato Chops (Alu Chop)


Firstly, boil potatoes. Drain and add salt. Mash until quite smooth. During the intervening time heat oil and fry the chopped onion and crushed garlic till light brown. Add minced ginger and caraway seeds, fry for two minutes and add the coriander, garam masala, turmeric and minced meat. Fry well until meat is quite brown. Add chopped tomato and correct the seasoning. Simmer till cooked and dry. 

Mix in chopped mint, leave to cool. Now, using well floured hands divide the mashed potato into eight portions. Form each portion into a ball, flatten in the palm of' the hand and place a helping of meat mixture in the centre. Gather the sides together and enclose the meat completely with the potato. Pat into a flat, round or oval shape. Dip in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs. Shallow fry in hot oil or fat till pale gold.
Serve with chutney and mixed salad.

Ingredients for making Brinjal Chutney:

1 big brinjal
5 dried red chillies
1 ½ tbsp oil
1 tbsp tamarind paste
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
Jaggery
½ tsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste


Preparation of Brinjal Chutney:

Roast the brinjal until it turns black. Now put in a bowl of water so that it becomes easy for you to peel off the skin and mash it. Now roast the red chillies in oil. Once the chillies cool, put them in a mixer jar. Add tamarind paste, jiggery and grind it into a paste. Take a pan and cook the mashed brinjal and add the ground masala. Add salt and 1/4 tsp of hing and mix well. Heat oil in a tadka pan. Add mustard seeds. Let the splutter. Now garnish the chutney with the mustard seeds. You may go with any topping according to your preference, yet fresh coriander leaf is a great tasty choice.

All purpose flour (Maida) – 4 tblsp  
Sugar - 4 tblsp  
Cocoa Powder – 2 tblsp
Egg – 1
Milk- 3 tblsp
Oil- 3 tblsp
Vanilla extract- 2 drops
Microwavable safe mug -  1
Optional Ingredients
Chocolate chips - 2 tblsp
Dry shredded coconut - 1 tblsp
Carrot (grated) - 1 tblsp


Firstly, apply cooking spray in the coffee mug so that the cake wont stick. Add flour(maida), sugar and cocoa to the mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix nicely. Pour in milk and oil and mix well. Be careful to mix properly till the bottom. Add vanilla extract and mix again nicely till all lumps are removed and you get a smooth batter. Put mug into the microwave and cook for 3-5 minutes at high power (1000 watts). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed. Allow to cool. Gradually, place the cake onto a plate.

Ingredients for making Bajra Khichdi:
 
100 gms Bajra
40 gms Yellow Moong Dal
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ghee

Soak 100 grams bajra for an hour. Separate the husk from the bajra by grinding coarsely in a mixer at a low speed. Mix moong dal when it becomes completely husk free. Transfer the contents in a pressure cooker with water and salt. Cook the contents for 10 minutes. Add hot water if required. Mix hot ghee to the food. Bajra Khichdi is ready to be served.

6 boneless Chicken Pieces

1 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
3 Onions (paste)
1 tbsp Ginger paste
4 tsp Cashew nut paste
½ tsp Saffron (dissolved in a little milk)
1 cup Curd
1 tsp Coriander Powder
2 Bay Leaves
½ tbsp Green Cardamoms
½ tbsp Whole Garlic cloves
¾ cup Cream
½ cup Oil
1 tsp White Pepper
1 tbsp Chilli Powder
Salt as per taste


At first, heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, fry whole garam masala. Also add onion, ginger and garlic paste. Fry for 3-4 minutes. Now add coriander powder and cashew paste and fry for 2 more minutes. Then add chicken, pepper, salt, curd, saffron and chilli powder. Mix well and lower the flame for 30 minutes.
Serve it hot and enjoy the stimulating aroma of Kesar in Chicken.

Therefore, one must be prepared for a fascinating experience of sipping on a hot cup of masala chai.  Yes, I know you are getting tempted with the words then imagine what it would be when you make it yourself. Tea leaves, 4-6 teaspoons
Milk, 1 cup
Chai masala, 1 teaspoon
Sugar, 4 teaspoons
For masala
Cinnamon, 1 inch stick
Green cardamoms, 4
Black peppercorns, 16
Nutmeg, grated, 1/4 teaspoon


Firstly, dry grind all the masala ingredients to a fine powder. Let it cool completely then sieve. Store in an airtight container. Use the masala as and when required to make tea. Boil three cups of water in a pan. Add tea leaves, milk, the powdered masala and sugar and bring the mixture to a boil again. Boil for a couple of minutes. Strain and serve piping hot.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Salt
1/2 cup cracked black peppercorns
Olive oil
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice


At first, brush chicken with olive oil. Sprinkle both sides liberally with salt. Place pepper in a pie pan. Dredge chicken in black pepper. Let rest for 2-3 minutes. Heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat. Pour in about 2 tbsp olive oil. Add chicken and cook 2 minutes per side, otherwise until browned on both sides. Insert an oven-safe probe thermometer into one of the chicken breasts. Bake, pan and all, at 375° until internal temperature reaches 165°. Remove chicken from pan and keep warm. Deglaze pan with lemon juice and drizzle over chicken.

Serve it warm and enjoy!

Nargisi Kofta happens to be an Awadhi recipe which belongs to the city of Lucknow. The cuisine belongs to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Awadh has been known to be influenced by Mughal cooking techniques and the cuisine of Lucknow bears similarities to those of Persia, Kashmir, Punjab and Hyderabad; and the city is known for Nawabi foods.

• 4 Eggs (boiled)
• 300 gms Chicken (minced)
• 100 gms Besan
• 6 Green chillies
• 6 tsp Ginger garlic paste
• 1 tsp Coriander (chopped)
• 1 Onion (chopped)
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 200 gms Cream
• 100 ml Milk
• 75 gms Cashew nuts
• 2 tsp Pepper powder
• 3 tsp Onion paste
• 2 Cinnamons
• 4 Cloves
• 4 Cardamoms
• Oil for frying
• 4 tbsp Ghee
• Salt to taste


Add green chillies, grated ginger, chopped coriander, onion, cumin seeds and salt to the Besan. Add minced chicken and mix it well. Prepare dough for this mixture by adding water. Make balls from this mixture. Flatten the balls and put egg in the centre. Heat the oil and fry these balls. Kofta is ready. Heat the ghee in a pan. Add cinnamons, cardamoms, ginger garlic paste, onion paste and tomato puree. Stir it well and fry for 5 minutes. Now add pepper powder and turmeric powder. Fry till oil is separated. Mix cream, milk and water. Heat the mixture over low heat for 20 minutes. Gravy for kofta is ready. Add koftas in gravy. Cook for 20 minutes. Nargisi Kofta gets ready.

•Rice 5 tablespoons
•Bottle gourd (lauki/doodhi),grated 250 grams
•Ghee 2 tablespoons
•Milk 6 cups
•Mawa
(khoya),grated 100 grams
•Sugar 1/2 cup
•Rose essence a few drops
•Almonds,sliced 10
•Rose petals a few


Soak the rice in a cup of water for about one hour. Drain and spread out to dry and grind coarsely. Bring one cup of water to a boil in a pan and add the
bottle gourd. Cook till soft, drain and set aside. Heat the ghee in a deep pan, add the rice and sauté for a few seconds. Add the milk and bring to a boil.
Lower heat and cook till the rice is soft. Add the bottle gourd and simmer for five minutes. Add the khoya and sugar and cook till the mixture is thick
enough to coat the back of a spoon. Stir in the rose essence. Pour into individual serving bowls and set aside to cool. Sprinkle sliced almonds and rose
petals on top.

Remember to serve it chilled!

After the scorching summer season there seems to be an uncertain drizzling occurring every other day. It could be because monsoon is arriving shortly. Now, if that's the case then what could be better than enjoying the rainy ambiance accompanied by a delicious recipe for us and our family. Lets try making delicious Fish Pakora (Pakoda).  


250 grams deboned fish pieces
1 tsp paste of green chilli and garlic
1 pinch carom seeds
2 tbsp corn flour
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Oil for deep frying
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp sesame seeds


Firstly, heat oil in a deep bottomed pan. Mix together all other ingredients except bread crumbs. Make round balls, roll in bread crumbs, slightly flatten them and deep fry in oil. It can be eaten with hot and sweet sauce or any other of your choice.

Remember to serve it hot.

Oven Baked Spicy Chicken Recipe can certainly be a delightful recipe for people who loves eating chicken and that too in a spicy way!

Ingredients for making oven baked Spicy Chicken recipe:

6-8 leg pieces of chicken.
1 tbsp oil
4-5 whole red chilli
1 tsp salt or adjust to your taste.
1 onion
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 c lemon juice
2 tbsp Tahina


Leaving out the chicken blend the rest of the ingredients to a fine paste. In a bowl marinade the chicken over night. Next morning pre heat oven to 350 deg . Put the marinated chicken in a baking dish, cover with a foil and bake for 30. Remove the foil and bake for 15 -20 min until golden. Finally, remove from heat.

Serve it warm with salad.
